MIZU TEA HOUSE
JUL 5TH — AUG 11TH
Mizu Tea House was founded in 2021 by Pit Romersa. Working as an online tea house, Mizu focuses on high-quality Japanese teas that are sourced from small family-owned tea farms. The extensive tea selection spans from Matcha, Sencha, Genmaicha, Houjicha, Kukicha to Mizudachi tea and more, offering the perfect opportunity to embark on e new tea experience or find comfort in revisiting a particular favorite.
With Mizu Tea House in the space of Creutz(&)Friends, Pit Romersa focuses on a Japanese-inspired style with elements that create a gentle connection to this special country, whilst remaining true to Luxembourg's local roots.
This way, he collaborates with local partners such as L’Audiophile, who provide a vinyl player for jazz listenings, as well as the local vinyl store in the very same street. A photograph of the Luxembourgish photographer Raymond Clement, as well as furniture from Rob Vintage and thematic books from Alinea are to be found in the space.
With a joint table in the midst of the room, Pit Romersa aims to create shared moments for drinking tea with friends or strangers, gatherings and unique interactions. The outside area is furnished with smaller tables for a drinking experience in the warm summer heat. Whether seeking a hot tea that heats guests up, or a cold brew Mizudachi, Mizu Tea House will provide both, with a touch of the Far East and roots closest to home.
