After studying in Lyon and Paris, she specialized in web design, seamlessly integrating illustration and screen printing into her repertoire. Today, her creative practice is a harmonious blend of technique and intuition. From her studio “Raclette” in Esch-sur-Alzette, Irina has developed a distinct style that captures the energy of conviviality—intimate connections and fleeting glimpses of everyday happiness.

The name of her studio, holds a special significance. While it might evoke the warm, communal nature of the famous Swiss dish, “Raclette” is also the French word for a key tool in serigraphy: the squeegee used to press ink through a screen onto a surface. This dual meaning reflects Irina’s focus on both the technical and social aspects of her art, where process and community intertwine seamlessly.

As Irina will showcase her work at Creutz(&)Friends starting February 2025, visitors can expect a delightful journey into her playful universe.
